At Sakura Naturopathic Medical Spa, we do not use disposable plastic sheets in our body treatments nor do we use paper towels for cleaning or hand drying. All cleaning products, laundry detergents, dish washing liquids and hand soaps used in our facility are natural, biodegradable, free of artificial fragrances and not tested on animals. We recycle and compost. We limit our use of paper marketing materials. We are mindful of our energy consumption and use energy efficient equipment.

Scents & Allergies

Sakura Naturopathic Medical Spa is not an entirely scent-free facility as some of our skin care products contain fragrant botanical ingredients, including herbs, fruits and flowers. Any scents that you encounter during your visit are extremely subtle, entirely natural and non-toxic.

Our aesthetics services focus entirely on organic skin therapy, including facials and body treatments. Since Sakura is both an eco-friendly day spa and naturopathic clinic, we do not provide manicures or pedicures within our facility. This allows our staff and clients to avoid exposure to the harmful chemicals and offensive odours associated with nail care products. If you would like us to recommend a local spa providing nail care services, we would be happy to assist you.

If you are highly sensitive to scents or allergic to particular ingredients that may be found in skin care products, please let us know when you book your appointment so that we may accommodate your needs and provide an appropriate treatment.

In order to respect the sensitivities of our staff and guests, we kindly ask that our guests refrain from wearing and/or applying perfumes, colognes or other potent sources of fragrance while within our facility.
