Aranka Jones, N.D., B.Sc.
Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine
Founder + Clinic Director
After obtaining a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Guelph, Dr. Jones went on to complete the four year Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Following her studies and a 12 month internship, Dr. Jones returned to her hometown of Collingwood and opened a private practice in 2009. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, Association for the Advancement of Restorative Medicine, and the Georgian Triangle Wellness Association. Extensive training in the natural and integrative treatment of common health conditions allows Dr. Jones to address a range of health concerns with safe, science-based, minimally invasive therapies. Her approach combines the best of conventional medical knowledge with complementary and alternative therapies like nutrition, herbal medicine and acupuncture. Conditions treated include fatigue, anxiety, digestive disorders, allergies, skin conditions, arthritis, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid and hormonal conditions. After developing a special interest in skin conditions and anti-aging, her growing concern about toxins in cosmetics led Dr. Jones to develop naturopathic skin treatments for face any body as an alternative to the typical chemical-based day spa experience. Dr. Jones sources natural, toxin-free cosmetics and skin care essentials for Sakura's organic beauty boutique so you may look your best naturally, without harming your health or the planet.
